Mystery ‘Amiable Amble’ Worldwide Photo Walk On Wight.
“I am pleased to announce this year I will be leading a (Worldwide) Mystery Photo Walk for the Isle of Wight on Saturday 13th October 2012.
This exciting outdoor pursuit or ‘amiable amble’ is suitable for Mobile Phone, Compact, Bridge and DSLR users basically anyone with an interest in photography is cordially invited to join other photographic enthusiasts too!”
In hundreds of places all around the world on 13th October 2012, photographers will be participating in the official Scott Kelby’s 5th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk™ during which they’ll take photos which can then be entered into a contest to find the best image.
- Currently on the official website there are: 1012 photowalks listed with 16690 people taking part Worldwide. Southcoast events are Isle of Wight, Brighton, Eastbourne and Plymouth.
There are global prizes to be had, and whoever puts the best photo in from our walk will also get a prize. The rules are simple: any image captured during the walk itself can be entered into an online gallery for judging.
The Worldwide Photo Walk event is free and open to everyone and a great chance to meet other photographers.
“This Mystery Photo Walk will embrace the elements of not only the weather but photographically. The area will remain a ‘Mystery’ until a few weeks before, but as we live on such a small Island the venue will not be hard to get too.
In essence this will be a social photography event where photographers get together to walk around, shoot photos, and generally have fun with other photographers. The aim to practice and improve one’s own photography skills, capture some culture as well as having some gentle exercise.”
There are 50 places up for grabs but in order to secure one you will have to sign up online.
